Growth, New Classes & Expanding Opportunities
This year, RTAD continued to flourish with openings available for new students, offering one of the most diverse timetables we’ve ever had. With over 50 after-school and Saturday classes each week, students explored ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, street dance, musical theatre, LAMDA drama and acro – from preschool beginners through to advanced teens.
We also proudly launched a brand-new intensive course for ages 12+, offering focused, professional-level training for students ready to push themselves further.
A Standing Ovation: Summer Show 2025
One of the biggest highlights of the year was our return to the iconic Greenwood Theatre at London Bridge for our Summer Show 2025. With two sold-out performances on a glorious London day, the energy in the theatre was electric.
Our brilliant creative team — Rosy, Mollie, Siana, Lauren, Nina, Lucy, Rethea and Florence — delivered some of their finest choreography to date, with every piece thoughtfully curated and beautifully brought to life. The feedback from families and audiences was overwhelming, and we are so grateful for the continued love and support of our RTAD community.
A Year of Achievements
Competition Excellence
At the start of the academic year, RTAD dancers competed in the IDTA Classical Ballet, Modern Jazz and Tap Southeast Awards, where Missy Trethewey claimed 1st place in Intermediate Jazz – an outstanding achievement.
Outstanding Exam Results
Across IDTA and LAMDA exams, our students achieved a 100% pass rate!
Special congratulations go to Coco Chung, who was nominated for the IDTA Theatre Awards in Advanced 1 Ballet – an honour reserved for the top 100 ballet performers across the UK and Europe.
Education, Scholarships & Futures
We are immensely proud of our students’ successes beyond the studio. This year saw pupils secure dance and drama scholarships to Queen’s College London, as well as unconditional places at Arts Educational, one of the UK’s leading performing arts schools.
West End & Screen Success
With London’s theatre scene on our doorstep, 2025 brought some truly exciting professional achievements:
- Eira Kay cast as Alice Creel in the West End production of Stranger Things
- Sienna Moosah cast as Lavender Brown in the upcoming HBO Harry Potter series
- Lilly Shawkat, who earned a coveted place on the Royal Ballet School’s Upper Intensive Course
Camps & Courses
Our Holiday Camps and Courses sold out throughout the year, with workshop themes including Moana, Hamilton, & Juliet, The Lion King, Beetlejuice, Encanto, High School Musical and many more – keeping imaginations inspired.
The RTAD Summer Intensive (Ages 11+) was a standout, giving students the chance to train with top-tier West End professionals, while our Musical Theatre Academy and Summer Camps for ages 3–7 ensured there truly was something for everyone.
Ending the Year on a High
We closed 2025 with our Christmas Show at Queen’s College, a joyful celebration of hard work – the perfect way to end such a remarkable year.
Looking Ahead to 2026
As we step into 2026, we’re thrilled to be preparing for the launch of our very own RTAD Talent Agency, creating even more opportunities for students aspiring to professional performance careers.
Thank you to our students, families, teachers and supporters for being part of the RTAD journey. 2025 has been unforgettable – and we can’t wait to soar even higher in 2026.
Stay tuned…
