Rosy Thompson
Principal

Rosy is a highly renowned professional dance teacher and choreographer with extensive experience in Theatre and Television. She is fully qualified within the International Dance Teachers’ Association (IDTA) and has guest taught and lectured at various professional dance schools and colleges across the UK, Europe and Far East.

Rosy began her training with Elizabeth Hill in St Helens and then went on to complete a three year musical theatre course at Phil Winston’s Theatreworks.

Siâna French

Siâna joined the Academy team in 2014 having previously had the pleasure of being taught by Miss Rosy whilst growing up in Guernsey. She has been assisting and teaching dance since the age of 14 and continued this into her University studies at Lancaster University where she ran their successful Dance Society with over 150 members.

Siâna previously worked as a Social Media Manager at theatrical marketing agency, AKA, but made the switch to full time teaching in 2018. Alongside teaching Siana regularly performs with London’s amateur dramatic groups.

Lauren Hyland

Lauren is originally from Devon and trained at Bird College in London gaining a BA (Hons) Degree in Dance and Musical Theatre graduating in 2021.

Mollie Nicholls

Mollie graduated from Bird College with a Dance and Musical Theatre Diploma. She previously trained at Birdgang Dance Company, Urdang Connect, Bird Junior School and D&B Theatre School.

Nina Bell

Nina attended full time education at the Sylvia Young Theatre School and graduated with a Musical Theatre Diploma from Laine Theatre Arts in 2017. Since graduating Nina has performed in many professional musicals touring around the UK and in London. alongside her performing she has been teaching and leading workshops for multiple theatre schools, elite companies and colleges across the UK.

Joshua graduated from Bird College with a First Class BA (Hons) in Dance and Musical Theatre.

Barnaby Thompson

Barnaby trained in Musical Theatre at Laine Theatre Arts and currently plays ‘Ed’ in The Lion King as well as understudying Timon, Pumbaa & Zazu. When not on stage, Barnaby is a regular guest teacher at the Academy.
