New Junior Lyrical Jazz Class!

We’re thrilled to announce a brand-new addition to our timetable: a Junior Lyrical Jazz class! Due to the overwhelming success of our senior and advanced lyrical jazz classes, we’ve decided to introduce this dance style to our younger dancers.

Lyrical Jazz is a beautiful fusion of ballet and jazz, where the music’s lyrics guides every movement. This class is perfect for 9-12 year olds who are ready to explore this dance genre in a fun and supportive environment.

Why Lyrical Jazz?

Lyrical Jazz allows dancers to express their emotions and tell a story through their movements. It combines the technical skills of ballet with the dynamic energy of jazz, creating a unique and captivating dance style. It’s a wonderful opportunity for young dancers to enhance their technique, musicality and emotional expression.

Meet Miss Mollie

Our new class will be taught by the talented Miss Mollie, who brings her passion and expertise in every class she leads. Mollie has been a teacher at the Rosy Thompson Academy of Dance for 8 years and is a Bird College Dance & Musical Theatre Graduate. With Mollie’s guidance, students will improve their technique, while working on flexibility and performance.
