New to the Rosy Thompson Academy of Dance – This September!

We’re thrilled to share some exciting news: we currently have openings available for new students to join the Rosy Thompson Academy of Dance! With over 50 after-school and Saturday classes scheduled each week, your child will have a wonderfully rich variety of dance and performing arts options to explore and enjoy.

Whether they’re interested in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, street jazz, musical theatre, LAMDA drama or acro, there’s something here to match their age and interests.

We’ve designed our timetable to cater to a wide range of levels from preschool beginners to advanced teens.

🆕 New Classes Alert!
Some of our most popular classes—like Street Dance and Acro—often have waiting lists. We’re excited to announce that new sessions are now available for younger age groups! This is a great opportunity for little ones to get involved early in these high-energy, skill-building styles.

For our current students: there’s no need to reach out unless you’d like to add new or additional classes to your child’s schedule.

New Timetable Highlights

Here’s a quick snapshot of what’s available this term:

Weekday After-School Classes (Mon–Fri)

• Ballet & Tap from preschool to advanced levels
• Modern Jazz for ages 6 through 18
• LAMDA Drama for ages 6 to 16
• Street Dance (Street Jazz):
  • NEW Mini, Junior and Intermediate classes now open!
• Lyrical Jazz for 9–18 years
• Musical Theatre from beginner to advanced groups
• Advanced technique classes in ballet, tap, and jazz for experienced students

Saturday Classes

• Mini & Preparatory Ballet/Tap for ages 3–6
• Mini Musical Theatre (3–6 years)
• Musical Theatre Academy (6–18 years) – a dynamic 3-hour block with singing, acting and dance
• NEW Acro (Acrobatics) for younger students
• Tap, Ballet, Modern Jazz, and Classical Ballet for ages 8 through 18
• Performance-focused sessions and technique-building classes available throughout the day

With so many opportunities to choose from, we’re confident your child will discover something they truly enjoy—along with a welcoming, inspiring environment to build their confidence. At RTAD, every timetable is carefully designed by Miss Rosy and personally tailored to each student. We’re not just a “book and go” school—we take pride in every childs experience being unique.
